After-Hours Pyrotechnic Testing to Take Place at EPCOT on Wednesday, May 8

Guests staying at the hotels located in the EPCOT Resort Area next week should keep in mind that pyrotechnic effects will be tested overnight at EPCOT on Wednesday, May 8. This test is scheduled to begin around 11:30 p.m. and end by 1 a.m., even though fireworks will be tested during a brief window of time.

The expected noise level is low to medium (it will not include audio testing or performances). The pyrotechnic effects are expected to be launched above the American Adventure pavilion in World Showcase.

While not confirmed by the Walt Disney World Resort, the park might be getting ready for the popular "Heartbeat of Freedom" show that will be presented on July 4.
