New Update Makes it Easier to Find and Connect with Family & Friends on My Disney Experience
The Walt Disney World Resort is simplifying how Guests make and share plans with each other using the My Disney Experience Family & Friends List at DisneyWorld.com! Guests can now opt-in to be searchable by their verified phone number or email address, allowing family members and friends to search for and find each other more easily using the My Disney Experience Family & Friends List on DisneyWorld.com.
Adding someone to the My Disney Experience Family & Friends List allows Guests to make and share plans for and with each other, including:
- Theme park reservations
- Lightning Lane redemptions
- Disney PhotoPass photos and videos
When a Guest makes a dining reservation, members of their Family & Friends List may also view those plans.
This update makes adding someone to your Family & Friends List as easy as adding a new contact to your Contacts app on your phone. My Disney Experience will even suggest people you may know based on your existing connections!
In addition to these updates, the resort recently simplified how guests make dining reservations and made it easier to locate quick and nearby dining options using mobile order in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Beginning in 2024, planning will become even easier as guests with date-based tickets (our standard ticket option) will no longer need theme park reservations, and Annual Passholders will be able to visit without needing reservations on select “good-to-go days.”
