2024 Refurbishment of Disney's Vero Beach Resort Feature Pool to Be Shorter Than Originally Planned

As previously announced, the feature pool at Disney's Vero Beach Resort (including the whirlpool spa and the Pirate’s Plunge pool slide) will be closed for refurbishment starting January 8, 2024. Originally, the refurbishment was scheduled to last until late March 2024, but that has changed. The refurbishment project is now expected to be completed by mid-February 2024.

The Tiger Lily Wet Play Area, Port Holes Miniature Golf, and The Spa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort will also be unavailable to Guests while the pool is closed because they are located within the fenced area where the refurbishment work will take place.

During the refurbishment, temporary signage will be in place to direct Guests to the Community Hall and Winds and Wave Bar and Grill, as there will be an alternate path of travel. Guests will also see and hear refurbishment work during daytime hours, typically from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Guests staying at the resort will continue to have a variety of activities to enjoy, including the beautiful Atlantic Beach, golfing, the Anchors A-Weigh fitness room, recreation, Eb & Flo’s Rentals, and more.
