Dinoland U.S.A. May Be Reimagined Into New "Tropical Americas" Area Featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones
Just minutes ago, the Walt Disney World Resort announced that the company is exploring the possibility of reimagining the Dinoland U.S.A. themed area of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park into a new land inspired by a region sometimes referred to as “tropical Americas.”
As part of their research, Imagineers are looking at some of them of the most biodiverse areas on the planet in the regions just north and south of the equator in the Western Hemisphere – the northern part of South America, stretching up in to Central America. New experiences inspired by “Encanto” and the fan-favorite adventurer Indiana Jones are being considered for the reimagined land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Looking at the artwork seen above, it appears that the area formerly occupied by Primeval Whirl may soon welcome a new Encanto-themed attraction and character greeting location, while the soon-to-be-former DINOSAUR attraction will become an Indiana Jones-themed dark ride inspired by Indiana Jones Adventure.
