SeaWorld Update: Work Continues in the Future Site of the New Antarctica-Themed Roller Coaster
An all-new roller coaster is coming to SeaWorld Orlando in the very near future, promising to add even more thrills to the already stellar lineup of exciting attractions the park currently offers.
While the park hasn't released any details about this new attraction yet, rumors state that this may be a new family roller coaster that could even include a short indoor portion (which would make this ride slightly more unique, as SeaWorld Orlando has been focusing on completely outdoor roller coasters so far).
Let's take a quick look around the construction zone where this new roller coaster will be installed, which can be found right next to the main entrance to Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin.

Temporary walls surround the entire section between Antarctica and Pacific Point Preserve as well as the area behind it:

Let's take a look at the area from the Pacific Point Preserve:
We can get an even better view of the area from the elevated walkway leading to the Sea Lion & Otter Stadium:
It is our hope that this side of the showbuilding will be properly themed once the attraction opens to Guests:
Notice the work that has been done so far to prepare the area to welcome this new attraction:
It's likely that two new openings will be created on this side of the building to allow the coaster to exit and re-enter the building:
In addition to the rumored indoor portion, it appears that the ride's station will also be housed inside the building, taking over the majority of the area formerly occupied by the Empire of the Penguin dark ride:
That is all for today. We will be back to the park in the coming days to see what else is new. Stay tuned!
