Park-Specific Disney Genie+ Service to be Available at Walt Disney World Starting June 27
The Walt Disney World resort is working on ways to simplify the Disney Genie+ service, including options for Guests to plan before the day of their park visit beginning in 2024, which many Guests have asked for. In the meantime, Disney wants to improve the experience for Guests using the service as it exists today, so the company will be introducing a major update in the coming days.
Beginning June 27, Guests at Walt Disney World Resort will be able to purchase Disney Genie+ service based on how they want to visit. Guests will be able to select either a single-park option or a multiple-parks option, subject to availability. Up until now, Disney Genie+ service has only been offered as one product, at one price point each day.
With this update, prices may be lower at some Walt Disney World theme parks compared to others. For example, on June 27, prices for Disney Genie+ service per Guest (before tax) will be:
- Multiple Parks: $27
- Magic Kingdom Park: $27
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $24
- EPCOT: $18
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: $16
This update will also allow the resort to continue offering Disney Genie+ service as an option for longer periods during the day at select parks, even when sales may be paused at other parks.
Guests will continue to be able to purchase Disney Genie+ service through the My Disney Experience app on the day of their visit, subject to availability.
