Walt Disney World Removing Park Reservation Requirements for Date-Based Tickets in 2024
Earlier today, Disney announced that Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort starting January 9, 2024 will no longer be required to secure a theme park reservations for date-based tickets! When getting their ticket, Guests will simply select a start date complete their purchase, and then they will be all set!
Date-based tickets are the standard ticket option offered to Guests. For other admission types, including non-dated tickets, theme park reservations may be required to continue managing attendance and delivering a great experience for everyone. Guests can check which admission types require park reservations by visiting DisneyWorld.com/ThemeParkReservations before making a purchase.
