Special After-Hours Event to Take Place at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on April 21

Next month, the Walt Disney World Resort will be hosting a special event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park that will be open to select Cast Members and their Guests. The "Cast Splash" event will include DJ dance parties, character greetings, access to the park's water slides and the wave pool, and much more.

More than 1,000 Cast Members will be randomly selected to win admission for themselves and up to three Guests to the "Cast Splash" event, which will take place on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (weather permitting).

Given that the water park is currently still scheduled to close at 5 p.m. to day Guests, it is possible that only a small portion of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be closed to allow participants to start entering the park and collect their credentials needed to enjoy the event. Additional information will be provided to event participants early next month.
