Beach Adjacent to Disney's Vero Beach Resort to Be Closed for Dune Stabilization Work on Feb. 13-22
In an ongoing effort to conserve and protect the Florida coast, Indian River County conducts dune stabilization work from time to time; as a result the beach adjacent to Disney's Vero Beach Resort will be inaccessible to Guests from Feb. 13-22, 2023 due to dune stabilization. Beach renourishment projects are intended to lessen the effects of beach erosion and ensure the shoreline remains healthy.
During that time, Guests may see and hear work as they travel around the resort near the beach. A shuttle will be available from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. each day to transport Guests to a beach located approximately one mile away.
The Vero Beach Feature Pool, the Pirate's Plunge Pool Slide, and other amenities will remain open to Guests while this important work takes place. No discounts or special accommodations will be offered during that time.
