Annual Passholders to be Able to Visit Theme Parks Without Reservations After 2 p.m. Starting April 18
Previously, the Walt Disney World Resort announced a few updates to improve the guest experience. Today, Disney provided additional information on the enhancements being made for Annual Passholders based on guest feedback.
- Beginning on April 18, 2023, Passholders may visit a theme park after 2 p.m. without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park. Pass blockout dates will continue to apply like they do today. While the theme park reservation system remains important to manage theme attendance on busier days, Disney finally realized that Passholders enjoy more spontaneous visits.
- Starting on March 20, 2023, Annual Passholders with a My Disney Experience account and the app will receive access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses and, one “Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories” experience (for Annual Passholders over the age of 18 who consent to use of their photos and this technology). Passholders will also be able to enjoy a new offering where they can create and share short Disney-themed video slideshows with favorite photos from their theme park visits.
