Walt Disney World Confirms Reopening Dates of Enchanted Tales with Belle and Ariel’s Grotto
Walt Disney World is finally getting ready to reopen two of Magic Kingdom's indoor character greeting locations that have been closed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic: Enchanted Tales with Belle and Ariel’s Grotto.
According to Disney, Ariel's Grotto is currently scheduled to reopen to Magic Kingdom Park Guests on January 22, while Enchanted Tales with Belle (which is located nearby) is expected to reopen on February 19. Both returning experiences will be added as selections to Disney Genie+ service on their respective reopening dates.
Enchanted Tales with Belle
This elaborate character greeting location allows Guests to relive the magic of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast by taking part in her fairytale—alongside Belle herself! As part of this experience, Guests can:
- Step into Belle and Maurice’s quaint country cottage and marvel at the charming decor.
- Tour Maurice’s workshop, filled with inventive gadgets and a special enchanted mirror
- Meet the Enchanted Wardrobe, who will help selected participants prepare for their role.
- Meet the Belle and other characters from the movie
Inside the Beast’s splendid library, Lumière the talking candlestick directs the action. When Belle appears, you’ll get a chance to play your part in her fairytale story—or just cheer along as you observe the fun!
Ariel's Grotto
Venture into a seaside grotto, where you’ll find Ariel among her treasures. She has gadgets and gizmos aplenty, and she’s always happy to make new friends—especially human ones. She wants to be where the people are, so stop by and make her dream come true!
