Tree of Life Refurbishment Begins on Jan. 15 at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the coming weeks should keep in mind that the Tree of Life (which features carved images of over 300 animals) will be getting a fresh coat of paint starting Sunday, January 15.

While the majority of the painting will occur overnight, painting structures will be visible during daytime operations of the early project phases. Additionally, select trails surrounding the Tree of Life may also be closed for brief periods of time.
