Multiple Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone Attractions Now Permanently Closed at Universal Studios Florida
After entertaining Guests for the past 24 years, Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone officially closed its doors to Guests at Universal Studios Florida on Monday, January 16, 2023. While Animal Actors on Location! and the nearby E.T. Adventure will continue to remain available to Guests for the foreseeable future, the following attractions that called Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone are now permanently closed:
Fievel's Playland
Inspired by the films An American Tail and Fievel Goes West, kids can explore a whimsical playground filled with oversized props. They can climb a 30-foot spider web, crawl through giant tin cans, cross swaying rope bridges, explore an enormous cowboy boot, splash in a 1,000-gallon cowboy hat and take on a twisting 200-foot water slide.
Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster
This thrilling kid-friendly coaster gently swoops and turns through Woody's very own nut factory, filled with silly puns and corny jokes. All the fun of a classic coaster without any daredevil drops, it's a treat for little ones and grown-ups alike.
Curious George Goes To Town
Join Curious George in this playground overflowing with fun. Enter the town's cartoonish buildings and grab a pump, hose or lever in the water play area. Discover activities for inquisitive little ones in the Animal Show tent. And head to the Man with the Yellow Hat's Ball Factory to throw, blast, and launch thousands of soft foam balls.
DreamWorks Destination
Madagascar. Trolls. Puss in Boots. Kung Fu Panda. Many of DreamWorks Animation’s most popular characters are appearing together in a fun, interactive experience at Universal Orlando. Dance with them. Strike a pose with them. And enjoy it all in air-conditioned comfort. It’s a meet & greet like no other.
Meet Shrek and Donkey
Say hello to the world's favorite big green ogre, his wise-cracking four-legged sidekick and the lovely Princess Fiona.
As previously announced, this section of the park is closing to make way for a reimagined kid-friendly themed area rumored to feature more characters from DreamWorks Animation. Click here to read the official announcement.
