Kali River Rapids and Maharajah Jungle Trek Aviary Closing for Refurbishment Starting Today

Guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the coming weeks should keep in mind that two of the park's attractions will be impacted by refurbishments starting today (Monday, January 9, 2023).

• Kali River Rapids will be temporarily closed to Guests starting today. The attraction is currently scheduled to reopen to Guests in mid-March. According to Disney, there will be no changes to the Guest experience as a result of this routine refurbishment. 
• Similarly, the aviary in Maharajah Jungle Trek will be closed through mid-February. Guests will be able to bypass the aviary entrance as they continue their journey exploring the natural wonders of the trail.

While the aviary is closed, the Wilderness Explorers station located in that area will be relocated to the aviary's entrance.
