Ol’ Man Island Water Slide Closing for Refurbishment Starting Jan. 2 at Disney's Port Orleans Resort

Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in the coming weeks should keep in mind that the Ol’ Man Island water slide will be closed for refurbishment from January 2-6, 2023. During that time, Guests may see or hear refurbishment work being performed on the slide during daytime hours.

The Ol’ Man Island swimmin’ hole pool will remain available to Guests throughout the refurbishment. A shuttle will be available from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. so Guests may use the water slide at the Doubloon Lagoon pool at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter while the Ol’ Man Island water slide is closed.
