Kali River Rapids Closing for Refurbishment Starting Jan. 9, 2023 at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Beginning January 9, 2023, Kali River Rapids will be temporarily unavailable due to regularly scheduled maintenance at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The attraction is currently expected to reopen to Guests on March 17, 2023.

There will be no noticeable changes to the Guest experience as a result of this routine refurbishment.

While Kali River Rapids is undergoing refurbishment, Guests will still be able to experience other attractions and entertainment in Asia, including Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Feathered Friends in Flight.
