Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Closing for Short Refurbishment Starting Jan. 9, 2023

Beginning January 9, 2023, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will temporarily close for refurbishment at the Magic Kingdom Park. The wildest ride in the wilderness is scheduled to reopen for Guests on January 14, 2023.  

There will be no noticeable changes to the Guest experience as a result of this routine refurbishment.
