PHOTOS: Former TurtleTrek Exhibit Reopens as SeaWorld Rescue Center at SeaWorld Orlando
Earlier this year, the TurtleTrek exhibit (as well as its 360-degree theater) closed to Guests at SeaWorld Orlando, signaling the beginning of a short refurbishment project that would last through November 2022.
Now known as the SeaWorld Rescue Center, the refreshed exhibit features a variety of enhancements. Let's take a look:

This new sign was installed a few months ago:
The exhibit's entrance was moved during the refurbishment. Now, Guests enter the attraction through TurtleTrek's former exit:
Fun fact: this was the exhibit's original entrance when it was known as Manatee Rescue:
The indoor portion of the exhibit now features beautiful imagery of manatees and sea turtles:
The 360-degree theater is still closed at this time. When we tried to take a peek inside we noticed that the work lights were on, but no visible work was taking place. We hope this attraction will reopen to Guests in the near future:
Let's continue to take a look around the exhibit:
The first half of the exhibit feature Green Sea Turtles:
It's great to be able to watch these amazing animals:
We also love these new light fixtures representing the animals featured in this exhibit:
Notice the new flooring with the wavy pattern. It looks even better in person:
The second half of the exhibit focuses on the amazing manatees:
The exit ramp features pictures of SeaWorld Team Members taking care of rescued animals:
A SeaWorld Rescue boat can be seen near the attraction's exit:
Guests exiting can visit a gift shop (which is still known as Trek Treasures):
This is definitely a great improvement, as this area of the park really needed to be refreshed. Even though SeaWorld seems to no longer focus on theming when it comes to their new roller coasters, the team in charge of refurbishing existing exhibits are doing an outstanding job (see also the Shark Encounter exhibit).
