Orlando International Airport to Temporarily Cease Commercial Operations Starting at 4 p.m. Today
Yesterday evening, the Orlando International Airport made the difficult decision to temporarily cease commercial operations later today (Wednesday, November 9) starting from 4:00 p.m. The airport will remain closed until circumstances permit operations resume.
The time for reopening the airport is still fluid as it will be determined by an assessment of damage to airport property and facilities. The airport is asking visitors to continue to work with their airline(s) directly in regards to their specific flight.
