PHOTOS: New Walkway Connecting Disney's Polynesian Village to the Grand Floridian Resort Now Open
Up until a couple of weeks ago, Guests staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort were able to walk to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa using a walkway bordering the Seven Seas Lagoon, which can be seen below:

This walkway will most likely remain (it may even get expanded):
Approximately a week ago, a portion of that walkway was closed to allow crews to begin working on the new Disney Vacation Club tower that will take over the area formerly housing the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show; as a result, a temporary walkway was constructed. Let's take a look at the changes that were introduced:
An all-new walkway was created in this area:
The walkway borders Floridian Way:
To access Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Guests have to cross Floridian Way twice:
A portion of this walkway provides Guests with great views of Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, which is being reimagined:
Here's the second area where Guests will need to cross Floridian Way:
Note that these are not signalized intersection, so pay close attention to your surroundings:
From here, Guests can follow the signs to reach Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa:
