Magic Kingdom Park Update: Exploring Tom Sawyer Island & More (PART 1)

This afternoon, we will be taking you back to the Magic Kingdom Park to see what's new since our last visit and to explore some areas of the park that may sometimes be overlooked, including Tom Sawyer Island. Let's begin our tour:

As we entered the park, we were greeted by the amazing dragon float that Guests can see daily as part of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. While this entertainment offering was heavily modified when it returned to the park after the pandemic closure, it's still great to see the performers and the remaining floats:

Since we rarely visit Tom Sawyer Island, we thought it would be a good idea to take a look around this time:

There's so much to see and do on this island, especially for kids:

A pirate-themed play area can be found on the highest point of the island:

Guests exploring the island can get a good view of several attractions in Liberty Square and Frontierland:

The exterior queue of the Haunted Mansion might need to be moved in the future if the Blue Sky Project known as "Beyond Big Thunder" (which was presented during the last D23 Expo) actually happens:

Some of the backstage infrastructure can be seen from the floating bridge:
