PHOTOS: TRON Lightcycle/Run Construction and Ride Testing Continues at Magic Kingdom
TRON Lightcycle/Run is without a doubt one of the most anticipated attractions coming to the Magic Kingdom Park. While it may feel like construction has been been going on for way too long (indeed, it has...), it is very exciting to think that we are mere months away from the official opening of this brand-new roller coaster!
This afternoon we will take a closer look at TRON Lightcycle/Run and the area surrounding this massive attraction:
The canopy is already showing minor signs of weathering:
Notice the new pathways and the train tunnel:
One of the ride vehicles was zooming by as we traversed Tomorrowland on the PeopleMover:
The lower pathway will lead to Fantasyland/Storybook Circus, while the elevated walkway will lead to the new ride:
The third access point will most likely be a backstage road:
The ride building can be seen in the back. Hopefully it won't be as visible from the ground:
Let's take a closer look at the train tunnel:
As we made our way back to the heart of Tomorrowland, we noticed anther ride vehicle:
That should be all for now. Additional Magic Kingdom Park photos will be posted in the coming days. Stay tuned!
