Disney Reveals Name of Sixth Cruise Ship, Unveils New Details About Lighthouse Point
During the D23 Expo 2022, several exciting announcements were shared about what’s new and what’s next for Disney Signature Experiences and other Disney destinations around the globe. One of such announcement involved the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, which is scheduled to set sail in 2024.
For the sixth cruise ship, which will be known as the Disney Treasure, Imagineers have dreamed up a new design concept inspired by the theme of adventure, celebrating Walt Disney’s lifelong love of exploration. The Grand Hall is inspired by the grandeur and mystery of a gilded palace, drawing on real-world influences from Asia and Africa, and paying homage to the far-off land of Agrabah. At the center, the signature statue will feature Aladdin, Jasmine and their Magic Carpet.
Disney’s Second Bahamas Destination – Lighthouse Point
In the Bahamas, progress continues on a beautiful new island destination at Lighthouse Point, which will bring the natural beauty and rich culture of the Bahamas to life for Disney Cruise Line Guests.

Josh D'Amaro also stated that the company is working with local advisors and artists to create a destination that represents the natural beauty and the rich culture the Bahamas. Their goal is for this to be "an authentic experience filled with all kinds of Disney magic."
