Team Member Previews of Revenge of The Mummy End Early at Universal Studios Florida
Yesterday morning, Universal Studios Florida resumed Team Member previews of Revenge of the Mummy, the indoor roller coaster located in the New York City section of the park. Originally scheduled to take place through Sunday evening, the park recently confirmed that previews have officially concluded.
Here's the message that was shared with Team Members working at Universal Orlando Resort:
Thanks to all Team Members who have assisted us with ride testing Revenge of the Mummy over this past week!Though we previously communicated ride testing opportunities would be available for Saturday and Sunday, at this time the team is reviewing test results to make adjustments as needed. Therefore, ride testing has concluded for the weekend. We appreciate your interest and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If and when additional opportunities for ride testing become available, we will share them on UOTeam.com. Thank you!
It is unclear whether the ride crew identified major technical issues or if the park is satisfied with the tests and wishes to reopen the ride sooner than originally anticipated. In any case, we hope to be able to experience this thrilling attraction in the very near future. Stay tuned to Orlando Theme Park News for additional updates.

ReplyDeleteThank you, that seems to confirm that the ride may be facing unexpected technical issues. I'm glad they do testing like this before they officially reopen the ride to the public.
