DVC Moonlight Magic Event to Take Place on Aug. 31 at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will host the Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic event on Wednesday, August 31, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.; as a result, Guests should be aware of the following impacts:

• The park will close at 7 p.m. for day Guests. The event will take place from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
• Members can check-in at the main entrance at 6 p.m. or the in-park location at the DVC kiosk by the Pandora bridge from 4-9 p.m.
• Members and their Guests will receive wristbands in order to stay for the event.
• Members can only enter prior to 6 p.m. if they have valid park admission and park reservations.
• A reservation is required to attend, and this event has sold out.

Transportation:

• Complimentary parking will be available to event Guests starting at 6 p.m.
• Guests can use Walt Disney World Buses to and from Disney Resort Hotels.

2. DINOSAUR
3. Expedition Everest
4. Na’vi River Journey
5. Kali River Rapids
6. TriceraTop Spin
7. It’s Tough to be a Bug
8. Fossil Fun Games (two tickets per event attendee, distributed at check-in, valid for use 8-11 p.m.)

Available Entertainment: 

1. DJ Dance Party in DinoLand U.S.A. includes Daisy, Chip ‘n’ Dale
2. Viva Gaia Street Band! And other musicians, intermittently on the Discovery Island stage
3. Tree of Life Awakenings/ Beacons of Magic, intermittently

• Certificates
• Each attendee will receive 3 certificates: one for a snack or popcorn bucket and the other two for snacks only. Some snack exceptions apply and are noted on the certificate.
• Complimentary ice cream
• Available 8-11 p.m. at Creature Comforts and by Theater in the Wild. All other open locations will only offer ice cream for purchase
• Food items for available for purchase at all open food locations except for Creature Comforts and Pizzafari.

Available Merchandise Locations:

• Chester’s & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures is the only merchandise location open during the event.
