“Festival of the Lion King” Show Returning to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on July 16

The tumble monkeys will soon be up to their acrobatic hijinks and the birds will be stretching their wings to once again soar above the stage when “Festival of the Lion King” returns to Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning July 16!

As the park prepares for its return, “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” will be unavailable July 5-15. As a reminder, “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” was presented in a modified format to be mindful of the current environment.

Since "Festival of the Lion King" is being brought back in a phased approach, Guest participation may not be reintroduced until later this year. Additional elements are expected to return in the near future.
