EPCOT to Close at 8 p.m. on June 5 Due to Private Event, Select Entertainment Offerings to Be Affected

On Sunday, June 5, a private event will take place at EPCOT after park close. The event ("A Celebration of Culture and Possibilities") will be sponsored by IPW and will take place from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to walk around World Showcase and enjoy a variety of international culinary delights, specialty beverages, global entertainment, unique photo opportunities, and a few surprises.

As a result, EPCOT will close to day Guests at 8 p.m. and no performances of Harmonious will take place that day as it won't be dark enough for the fireworks show to be presented that early. It is possible that the show will still be performed during the special event (it could very well be one of the "special surprises" mentioned above), but that has not been officially confirmed.

Additionally, the 5:30 p.m. Garden Rocks Concert Series show will be moved to 4:30 p.m. on June 5. The 4:30 p.m. show will be the only performance available to day Guests on that day.
