MagicBand Supply Temporarily Limited Online Due to Industry-Wide Supply Chain Issues

The Walt Disney World Resort recently released an advisory stating that, due to ongoing, industry-wide supply chain challenges, MagicBands may have limited availability or be unavailable in some styles. This inventory shortage impacts pre-arrival online purchases for Disney Resort hotel Guests.   

While MagicBands may have limited availability online, select styles may still be available at Disney-owned-and-operated retail locations across Walt Disney World Resort.

Teams are working to improve the selection over the coming weeks and recommend Guests continue to check back to see if their preferred style is available.  

In the meantime, Guests are encouraged to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to access Disney MagicMobile service available on eligible smart devices. Disney Resort Guests can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to access a digital room key feature. With this feature, Guests can unlock their hotel door and common area doors using their eligible mobile device.
