Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Undergo Major Refurbishment Project Through 2023

As previously shared, the Walt Disney World Resort is working on grand plans to expand and enhance The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; as a result, beginning March 1, Guests will notice construction and refurbishment work at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during daytime hours (typically from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Most resort amenities that are currently open – like dining, recreation, and merchandise locations – will remain available to Guests throughout the duration of this work. Guests should refer to the "Know Before You Go" page on disneyworld.com for the most up-to-date information about the amenities that will be available during their stay.

While The Walt Disney World Resort has yet to unveil all the details regarding this major project, work at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is expected to continue through next year. Additional information will be shared at a later date.
