"Celebrate Soulfully" Event Returns to the Walt Disney World Resort Starting February 1

The Walt Disney World Resort recently confirmed that the "Celebrate Soulfully" event will return beginning February 1. Continue reading to learn more about the special activities that await Guests visiting select areas of the resort:

EPCOT:

 

ART:

• Soul Artwork: During the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, be on the lookout for artwork inspired by the Disney and Pixar animated feature "Soul" – including colorful sidewalk chalk creations.
• "The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure" exhibit: Learn about the colorful history of jazz.

FOOD:

• Refreshment Outpost: The Nairobi Coffee Porter is infused with Kenyan coffee and features subtle berry and stone fruit notes. Additionally, the Plant-based Bratwurst is inspired by the flavors of Eastern Africa and is served with spicy turmeric aioli, Kachumbari slaw and coffee barbecue jackfruit.
• Fife & Drum: The Half Note Float, named in honor of the jazz club frequented by Joe Gardner in Disney and Pixar's "Soul" features layers of Fanta Strawberry, Minute Maid Lemonade, Fanta® Blue Raspberry Slushy and vanilla ice cream.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:

• Tiffins Restaurant: The Peach Cobbler Rum Cake at is inspired by a beloved recipe from chef James Hemings, celebrates his lasting creative and culinary legacy.
• Nomad Lounge & Cocktail Bar: Enjoy Mandazi, a delicious fried dough dessert with Swahili origins.
• The Celebrate Soulfully Cupcake is available at Creature Comforts Coffee Shop, Flame Tree Barbecue and Restaurantosaurus.
• Mint Julep, flavored with pineapple and orange to honor the inspirational story of the drinks' creator, John Dabney is available at Nomad Lounge, Dawa Bar, Restaurantosaurus Lounge and Thirsty River Bar.

Disney Springs:

MUSIC:

• Motown favorites return alongside jazz, R&B and pop hits, with a line-up of featured musical acts all month long.

ART:

• New murals and art displays appear throughout Disney Springs, several of which have been inspired by favorite characters from "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" series on Disney+.
