Revenge of the Mummy Closing For Extensive Refurbishment Beginning January 7, 2022

Starting from January 7, 2022, the popular Revenge Of The Mummy attraction will temporarily close to Guests at Universal Studios Florida. According to Universal Orlando's official website, the ride is expected to reopen in late Summer 2022.

While the park hasn't officially announced any specific details regarding the upcoming refurbishment, current rumors point to the possibility of a full (or at least partial) track replacement, the addition/refurbishment of some of the ride's special effects, as well as a reimagined indoor queue that could end up being very similar to that of Universal Studios Singapore's version of the ride, which includes imposing columns, statues, and more.
