Major Spaceship Earth Refurbishment Temporarily Paused, Attraction to Reopen on July 15

Just a few minutes ago, the Walt Disney World Resort officially confirmed that the major refurbishment of Spaceship Earth has been temporarily paused. The attraction is currently scheduled to reopen to Guests on July 15, 2020.

Here's the official statement included in one of the latest Disney Parks Blog posts:

Time travelers, take note that the iconic Spaceship Earth attraction at EPCOT will also continue to be available in its current state while we pause on its planned refurbishment
