VIDEO: Spotted Eagle Rays Born at Discovery Cove During COVID-19 Closure

Yesterday afternoon, Discovery Cove announced the birth of four spotted eagle rays!

According to the park, the birth of these eagle rays is significant not only for Discovery Cove but the entire zoological community, because they are a near threatened marine species and part of the Species Survival Plan of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Guests are encouraged to visit The Grand Reef to see these new pups and learn more about them once Discovery Cove reopens to Guests. We can't wait to see these beautiful animals!
