Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to Be Closed Until Further Notice Starting March 16
Just a few minutes ago, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex announced that the location will be closed to Guests until further notice starting Monday, March 16, 2020.
Here's the official statement (posted on the official website) regarding this closure:
"In response to the prevention and control of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and in order to ensure the health and safety of our guests and crew members, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will temporarily close, starting March 16 until further notice.
The health and safety of our employees and guests is the highest priority for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
During this temporary closure, the Reservations Department will also be unavailable to process bookings. To complete a reservation for a future date, please visit our website at KennedySpaceCenter.com."

Will I be refunded for my admission ticket, Special Interest Tour and/or Dine With An Astronaut?
Date specific Daily Admission tickets for March 16 until we reopen will be refunded. Unexpired Daily Admission tickets will still be valid for use. Private programs, such as ATX, Overnight Adventures, Special Interest Bus Tours and Dine With An Astronaut programs will be canceled and refunds will automatically be issued for activities scheduled on these days. During this temporary closure, the Reservations Department will also be unavailable.
How will the refunds be issued? How long will it take to get my refund.
Refunds will be processed automatically for upcoming tickets or events during the closure. Unexpired Daily Admission tickets will still be valid for use. We will begin issuing refunds in calendar date order. Please be patient as we work through all the reservations. We appreciate your patience.
I purchased my ticket through a third-party vendor. How do I obtain a refund?
Please contact the vendor directly to reschedule your visit or obtain your refund. We are unable to assist you with your reservation, as it is not in our reservation system.
I have a school field trip or education program scheduled this month. May I get a refund?
Private programs, such as ATX, Overnight Adventures, school field trips and other education programs will be canceled and refunds will automatically be issued for activities scheduled on these days.
May I change the date for my visit to a future date?
To reschedule your visit and change your ticket date, please email us your reservation number and new desired date of visit to kscinfo@delawarenorth.com.
