Spring Break and Summer Camps to Be Offered at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
Parents looking to fill in children's school-break schedules can get a head start by registering them for camps at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.
"Zoo camp is a great hands-on learning experience while school is out," said Dino Ferri, the Zoo's CEO. "It's a fun opportunity for the kids in our community to be outdoors, meet lots of animals, learn about the Zoo, and make memories."
From March 16 through March 20, the Zoo is offering spring break camps for children ages 6–8 and 9–12. Topics encompass ecosystems throughout the world, unusual plant life, and up-close animal encounters.
Summer camps will be offered starting Monday, June 1 through Friday, August 14. A variety of full-day camps are available for ages 5–17. A select number of camps, including Explore the Wild and Zoology in Action, will include an opportunity to experience the Zoo's aerial adventure course.
Registration is now open for spring break camps. Registration for summer camp opens this Saturday, February 15. Additional information is available by visiting www.centralfloridazoo.org/camps.
