PHOTOS: Renovated McDonald's Continues to Take Shape Near Disney's All-Star Resorts
The McDonald's located near Disney's All-Star Resort closed to the public on October 30, 2019 to be updated. As you'll see in the photos below, the majority of the former structure has been completely demolished (it appears that the only area that survived is the kitchen), and a very large outer structure is now taking over the space.
When driving around the area, we came to the conclusion that a portion of this new structure will not be enclosed. This is clear when looking at the drive-through lane, which will be covered by the large awning seen on the left:

The restaurant is expected to reopen later this year. During this refurbishment, Guests looking to dine at McDonald’s may visit the nearest restaurant, located at 7627 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34746.
