Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Opening March 4, 2020 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

During a special presentation that took place earlier today at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek officially announced that the all-new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction will open on March 4, 2020, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This will be the first Disney ride-through attraction featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, that will draw guests inside a Mickey cartoon for a fun-filled adventure where “Mouse rules apply” and anything can happen!

    So sad that we lost the Great Movie Ride. As soon as it became sponsored by TCM I knew it was on its way out. A full update with modern audio-animatronics would have been great. Having said that, I am looking forward to the new ride and the developments in Hollywood Studios!
