PHOTOS: Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Cast Members Make History at Tri-Circle-D Ranch
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Cast Members recently became a part of Disney history by signing a support beam to be installed in the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch. The redesigned Tri-Circle-D Ranch, offering a modern stable and updated outdoor spaces and facilities for draft horses and ponies, will debut in Spring 2020.
During this event, Cast Members commemorated the time-honored traditions of the original ranch, dating back to 1971, while celebrating the unbridled excitement of continuing to create memories in an entirely new space. Even the ponies, Dolly and Lilly, left their mark during this a-neigh-zing, momentous occasion.
For nearly 50 years, the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has been an essential part of the magic and legacy at Walt Disney World Resort. The ranch is home to “The Happiest Horses on Earth,” who receive the very best care from a team of ranch hands, veterinarians, blacksmiths and nutritionists. Many hooves make up this happy family, including a variety of breeds, such as Quarter Horse, Percheron, Paint, Gypsy Vanner, Clydesdale, Belgian, Appaloosa, Arabian and Shetland ponies.
