PHOTOS: New Parking Lot for The Cove Opening Soon Near Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf

Work on The Cove hotel continues across the street from the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. When it officially opens to Guests in 2021, the new tower will offer over 22,000 square feet of meeting space, a 16,800-square-foot elevated deck with a fire pit and pool, a health club, business center, upscale craft cocktail lobby bar, and much more.

To allow crews to continue working on this new hotel, a new parking lot will soon replace the current parking space located in front of Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course. Let's take a quick look around the area:

First of all, we noticed that a new turning lane is being created near the walkway connecting Fantasia Gardens to the Swan & Dolphin hotels:

The Cove will be built in this area:

These walls will soon come down to reveal a new road leading to the new (larger) parking lot that will service both the new hotel and the adjacent Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf:

Notice how the new lights installed around the area match the look of the new light poles installed around the entrance of Epcot:
