Enchanted Rose Lounge Coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
A new “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired lounge is coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this fall. The enchanting lounge, named Enchanted Rose, will celebrate the beauty and romance of the tale as old as time. This expanded bar and lounge space will bring even more magic to the second floor of Walt Disney World's flagship resort.
Enchanted Rose will feature four unique spaces inspired by the Disney live-action film adaptation, including a signature bar glowing from the light of a magnificent gold chandelier inspired by Belle’s flowing ball gown, as well as subtle nods to the Beast’s magical rose. Guests will also escape into fantastical stories in a formal library showcasing classical baroque designs and French furnishings inspired by Belle. A garden room will be a whimsical space that draws its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding Beast’s castle, and an outdoor patio will evoke the romance of Beast’s garden terrace.
True to the hospitality of Lumiere and Beast’s enchanting friends, Enchanted Rose will feature a delicious menu with a variety of appetizers and drinks. Guests can enjoy an artisanal cheese selection with pine nut bread and raisins or an elegant dish of white sturgeon caviar served with egg timbale, crème fraiche, and chives. Other options perfect for sharing include truffle fries and a house-made flatbread pizza.
The Mini Smoked Short Rib Sliders with glacier blue cheese and onion marmalade on brioche buns will offer a hearty fare. For seafood-lovers, there will be Espelette Pepper-Spiced Shrimp, Octopus a la Plancha with black olives, blistered tomatoes, and fingerling potatoes, and a Crab and Gnocchetti Gratin, which will include jumbo lump crab, gnocchetti sardi, robiola bosina mornay, and citrus breadcrumbs.
The beverage menu will host a variety of portrait-worthy drinks, including cocktails and martinis. Featured cocktails will include the Island Rose with grapefruit and rose vodka, lime, orgeat, pineapple, bitters, and rose water. Guests will also enjoy the original, exquisite flavors of the Lavender Fog (dry gin, crème de violette, English breakfast tea, vanilla, and cream) or the Garden Daisy (tequila, midori, lime, egg white, and cucumber). The lounge will also be pouring an extensive collection of wine and Champagne by the glass.
Non-alcoholic options will feature a Garden Cocktail (non-alcoholic spirit, lime juice, agave nectar, and soda), as well as the B&B (fresh-brewed iced tea, lemon, blueberry, and basil) and the Rosemary Cooler (Odwalla lemonade, vanilla, and rosemary).
Enchanted Rose opens this fall at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and from its stunning decor to its delicious menu, it's sure to bring something there that wasn’t there before.
