This week: Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith opened on July 29, 1999 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Aerosmith worked with Walt Disney Imagineers to produce the soundtrack, contributing eight classic songs that pump through each limo's 125-speaker, 24-subwoofer, 32000-watt onboard audio system. Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster was also among the opening day attractions of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris in 2002.

1999 – Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is dedicated at Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney’s Hollywood Studios) at Walt Disney World Resort

1993 – Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril opens in Adventureland at Disneyland Paris
1998 – Disney Magic, the first ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, sets out on its maiden voyage from Port Canaveral

1955 – Fantasyland attraction Casey Jr. Circus Train opens at Disneyland Park
2017 – The 700 millionth guest visits Tokyo Disneyland Park, which originally opened in 1983

1997 – Coronado Springs Resort opens at Walt Disney World Resort

2010 – Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria opens in the Italy pavilion in Epcot, featuring an open kitchen and three wood-burning pizza ovens that represent Italy’s three active volcanoes – Etna, Vesuvius and Stromboli.
Aug. 3
2014 – Four Seasons Resort Orlando hotel, Residence Club, opens as part of the Golden Oak residential community at Walt Disney World
Aug. 4
2009 – Bay Lake Tower opens at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
