Floridian Place Extension Opens on July 10 Near Walt Disney World's Northern Entrance

The Walt Disney World Resort recently confirmed that the four-lane roadway extension of Floridian Place will open the morning of Wednesday, July 10, seamlessly connecting drivers from Reams Road and Floridian Way, near the Reedy Creek fire station. The extension will provide quicker access behind and around Magic Kingdom Park, as well as unimpeded travel during nighttime fireworks.

In preparation for the opening, Floridian Way will be closed from 11 p.m.–6 a.m. the night of Sunday, July 7. During this closure, traffic will detour using Seven Seas Drive and World Drive. Local traffic will be open for construction traffic, service vehicles, and Cast Members working in those areas.
