Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park Closing for Refurbishment Earlier Than Usual This Year

The Walt Disney World Resort just announced that "additional refurbishment work and enhancements" will take place at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park later this year, resulting in a longer annual down time than in previous years. For this reason, Blizzard Beach will close for refurbishment beginning on September 8, 2019 and reopen in early 2020.
