SeaWorld Update: Sesame Street Construction, Miscellaneous Rehabs (PART 3)
Thank you for joining us for the final installment of this three-part SeaWorld Orlando photo-report. Once again, we would like to remind you to also check out PART 2 of this update if you haven't already had the chance to do so. Let's continue our tour.
Team Members now close entire sections of the seating area in the Shamu Stadium when they are not needed:

A Seven Seas Food Festival Information Center can also be found in this area of the park:
The Dolphin Nursery is currently closed for refurbishment:
I too find it interesting that they would schedule annual maintenance so soon after opening, but then maybe they planned it back when they thought it would be open by June. I'd like to see Wild Arctic get some love, as it's always in rough shape. The seats need to be replaced, the ride vehicle interior as a whole needs refurbishment, including the sound and projection systems. You can barely hear the audio from some seats, and it sounds like the music, sound effects, and narration are meant to come from separate speakers, but only a couple of the speakers are actually functional, and so you can hardly hear anything other than the narration. The video is out of sync with the motion, and the projection really ought to be upgraded to fill the whole 'window'. Also, there's a room that clearly was meant to be a pre-show room, but right now it's just an unthemed room with a single tv playing the same queue video from outside, which everyone watches intently, expecting a pre-show video. That should be upgraded or restored to whatever it (probably) used to be.
ReplyDeleteThe Rumors are that Mango Joes Restaurant will be demolished and in its place they will build the 2020 launch coaster. It will go over the water.
