Islands of Adventure Update: New Structures Take Shape Around New Coaster (PART 1)
Universal's Islands of Adventure has never looked better in our opinion. During our latest visit, we noticed that many of the park's buildings have been repainted, and most of the special effects are working properly (with a few exceptions, of course). In addition to that, construction crew are busy working in the area where an all-new family roller coaster will open. Let's take a look around together, shall we?
The Adventure begins now:
The Port of Entry facades look great:
We are very glad to see that the Island Market & Export sign is still in place. It had been missing for more than a year before returning to the park not too long ago.
Filming was going around Port of Entry, so background music was temporarily turned off in the area:
Seuss Landing is truly in great shape:
Mc Elligot's Pool looks spotless:
Most of the other buildings appear to have been recently repainted:
The Truffula trees are cool. We love walking around this "forest":
The awning is back on top of Hop on Pop:
It looks like the Grinch might be greeting Guests inside Gertrude McFuzz Feathered Finery:
Honk Honkers is still closed:
Hopefully it will reopen soon:
