Refurbishment Projects Taking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Multiple refurbishment projects are currently ongoing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, including the rehab of the Jambo House Pool and the repainting of the Kidani Village exterior.
Jambo House Pool Rehab
The Uzima Pool at Jambo House closed for refurbishment on Tuesday, September 4, and the project is expected to be completed in early December. The pool, pool bar, hot tubs, and playground will be closed during this time. Noisy work begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes daily at dusk (approximately 6:00 p.m.)
Guests staying at Jambo House are able to use the Samawati Springs Pool and Hot Tubs at Kidani Village. Guests are able to walk to Kidani or use the internal shuttle that picks up/drops off at the Jambo Porte Cochere and the Kidani Porte Cochere. The shuttle stops at each location approximately every 5 to 10 min, starting at 7:00 a.m. and concluding at 11:00 p.m. each day.
Guests that were wanting to visit the Uzima Pool Bar during this time should be directed to The Mara, Victoria Falls Lounge (opening at 11:00 a.m. daily), or the pool bar at Kidani Village. The Zahanati Fitness Center at Jambo House will remain open during the rehab
Kidani Village Exterior Painting
Beginning this week and continuing into 2019, the exterior of Kidani Village will be repainted. During this time, High Reach Construction vehicles may be visible to Guests, and balconies will be accessed by the painting crew. Work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and concluded at dusk (approximately 6:00 p.m.)
