PHOTOS: Tomorrowland Refurbishment Project Continues at the Magic Kingdom Park
Over the past few years, Guest visiting the Magi Kingdom Park might have noticed that some areas of Tomorrowland have been repainted, including the rockwork, the exterior of the Carousel of Progress, the infamous "Purple Wall," and more. But that's just the beginning of a major project that include updating the look of the entire land before the all-new Tron roller coaster officially opens to Guests.
In this update, you will notice that the park is now working on updating the look of the facade of Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, the area in front of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and more. Let's begin our tour:
All the "Incredible Summer" banners that were installed around the land are gone:
The large spaceship that used to be located in front of the entrance of Monsters, Inc. laugh Floor is being removed:
This change will certainly make this walkway feel a little less crowded:
Something is being done right in front of the entrance of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin:
Moving on:
The expanded exterior seating area of Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe is a great addition:
A sign might soon be installed in this space:
These sliding doors look brand-new:
We are glad to see that they are finally keeping at least one of the restaurant's door propped open so that Guests using a wheelchair can easily enter into the building:
This sign might need some help:
This is how the other side looks like:
The Space Mountain sign now sports white letters:
The temporary Space Mountain exit is still open:
A Tron billboard can now be found along the walkway connecting Tomorrowland to Storybook Circus:
A large crane can be seen behind the billboard:
And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. If you'd like to make a donation to OTPN, feel free to use the "donate" button on the sidebar. Thanks for your support.

The large sphere is now surrounded by walls. We don't know if it will return (we hope so):
