Tambu Lounge Closing for Refurbishment at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Guests staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort should be aware that Tambu Lounge will close for refurbishment later this month and is anticipated to reopen in early September. While the location is closed, Guests are invited to visit two temporary bars, serving up island-themed specialty cocktails and Polynesian favorite appetizers between 9 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.

The bars will be located behind the ‘Ohana check-in desk and near the Highway in the Sky location by Moana Mercantile. Guests may also visit Barefoot Pool Bar, Oasis Bar & Grill, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, and Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace for additional bar and appetizer offerings.

Tambu Lounge bar will return with an improved appearance this fall.
