Disney Springs Update: Portion of Renovated World of Disney Opens to Guests (PART 1)
The world's largest Disney store is in the process of being completely re-imagined at Disney Springs. Over the past few days, Disney unveiled the portion of the store that has been transformed, which features brick columns, open spaces, and some interesting special effects (not turned on yet) that will soon bring some of your favorite Disney characters to life.
Let's take a look around Disney Springs to check out this renovated store and the rest of the area:
The new Jaleo restaurant continues to take shape in the West Side:
The rest of the West Side looks pretty good:
One of the letters was missing from the sign of AMC Theaters (which, by the way, still sports a very dated exterior):

"so what kinda sign you want outside?"
ReplyDelete"same as our theme parks these days."
"cheap and boring, you got it!"
Have to wonder how many of those Disney Springs stores will stay in business. The impact will be that as they close there will be an endless stream of boards and redevelopment no-go areas making an already busy area even more congested. I wish them all the luck but have a feeling that there will be a high turnover of retail outlets which could affect the ambience of Disney Springs.
