AERIAL PHOTOS: Work Continues on Walt Disney World's New Gondola System
A new transportation option will soon be available to Walt Disney World Guests wanting to travel between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The new gondola system will also give Guests staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and the brand-new Disney Riviera Resort the chance to skip the bus to reach these two theme parks.

I was wondering what they would do with the cabins during a hurricane. The pictures of the Caribbean beach seem to show a storage area for gondolas, in a big storm all gondola have to be pulled off the line so they don't hit the poles, does anyone else have an idea of where they would store the cabs, they could only fit 4 or 5 per station in a weather event
ReplyDeleteThe grid shaped areas at the Caribbean Beach station are the storage area for the cars. They could also leave some of them in the stations since they can hold far more the 4 or 5.
